I Wonder

Margaret Bruce Stirling

I wonder if you’re looking down at me
From way up high above the trees

I wonder if you see the tears in my eyes
When I think of you and break down and cry

I wonder if you know how much I miss you so
Why of why did you have to go

I wonder if you hear my words
Talking to your picture, is that absurd

I wonder if you’re beside me
On the days I need a mother to be

I wonder if I’ll see you again
When I go to heaven in the end

Fearful

Fearful of unknown
Anything happens healthwise
Cancer really sucks

Head it on full force
Think positive and fight hard
Strive to win battle

Exuberant

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File%3A20140212Narcissus_pseudonarcissus5.jpg

The snow is finally melting and the Sun is shining brightly

Spring has finally arrived here in what some think is the frozen tundra

I myself am feeling exuberant as my energy has returned at last

Getting outside more now and walking with my dog Maggie

Looking forward to the daffodils and tulips peeking up through the soil

The End Is Near - Flash Fiction

Thirsting for water
Not a cloud anywhere seen
Everything is dead

Trees are screaming out
Our leaves are all on the ground
Somehow please save us

Once what was luscious
Voluminous green pastures
Has now turned to dust

Spring arrived with hope
Not a flower to be seen
Dispiritedness

Oceans are depleting
Lakes and rivers are hollow
Ponds now memories

Scorching sun daily
Humans are seeking shelter
Underneath the ground

Not one animal
Can endure these elements
Soon there will be none

Annihilation time
Sorrowfully will soon show up
Such a travesty

Depression darkness
Gasping for relief to come

. . . . .
